More than 21 Lakhs migrants safely reached back to their native place in UP : ACS A K Awasthi

The Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh Awanish Kumar Awasthi has informed that till now more than 21 lakhs stranded migrants have reached back safely in Uttar Pradesh through trains and buses arranged by the state government. He has also state that the construction work is in full swing under the SOP guidelines of Government of India. The construction cost of Ganga Expressway has been estimated around 20,924 crore rupees and the cost of land acquisiton will be 9000 crore rupees. This will be a sixteen lane expressway that will connect Meerut to Prayagraj. He has also informed that till now 5535 labourers , 1144 engineers and 3127 machines have been deployed for the construction of Purvanchal Expressway. The fifty percent construction work of Purvanchal Expressway wil be achieved at the end of this month. However, 2348 labourers, 625 engineers and 2370 machines have been deployed for the construction work of Bundelkhand Expressway.

He has also stated that the police officials have been asked to intensify foot patrolling and checking to maintain the law and order in the state.
