IAS and Senior PCS Officers will Assist Commissioners in handling Community Kitchen: ACS A K Awasthi


The Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Kumar Awasthi has informed that state government is deputing some IAS and Senior PCS Officers for assisting Commissioners in all 75 districts across state in handling community kitchens. These officers will work under Divisional Commissioners.He further informed that till now more than 50 thousand stranded labourers and students have been brought back to their native place. The state government is further planning to bring labourers from Karnataka, Punjab and Kerala in near future. These workers will be quarantined and officers will associate them from ODOP, Vishwakarma Samman Yojana and Milk Cooperatives in order to provide work to them. Many stranded labourers of various states were benefitted under Ration Card Portability Scheme and ration was provided to them. These will be given a ration kit and financial assistance of one thousand rupees while sending them for home quarantine. The health workers involved in vaccination programs for infants are requested to  use gloves, sanitizer and face masks while performing their duties.
